Nottingham Forest’s strong start to the summer could be set to continue as Evangelos Marinakis looks to add another player to the squad.

Nottingham Forest are keen to land the in-demand centre-back

So far this summer, Forest have already added to their backline with the impressive signing of Nikola Milenkovic.

The Serbian has already come straight into Nuno’s side during the pre-season trip to Spain, but there have also been a few exits from the City Ground.

Moussa Niakhate left last month with Forest needing off-book players to balance their PSR spreadsheets.

Despite bringing in a big-name defender with Milenkovic, it appears the Reds are still looking to add another centre-back in the coming weeks.

According to Il Resto del Carlino, Forest are still showing an interest in Toulouse centre-back Logan Costa.

However, they are not the only sides showing an interest in the Cape Verde international, with the report from Italy coming amid interest from Bologna.

And then there’s Fulham who have been credited with the 23-year-old clearly catching the eye in the Premier League.

Who is Logan Costa?

Costa currently plays his football in Ligue 1 with Toulouse, where he won the French Cup in the 2022/23 campaign.

Despite being just 23, Costa has become a real regular in the Toulouse side, making 57 appearances in all competitions.

31 of those came in Ligue 1 last season, where he also managed to provide Toulouse with a goal and an assist.

Earlier this year it was reported that the potential sale of Costa could see a transfer record for Toulouse.
