UFC 304 LIVE: Tom Aspinall and Leon Edwards fight tonight’s updates and results

Now, Chikadze’s nose looks somewhat bloody. Easter one-two by Allen. He drops to one knee, but it looks more like a trip than a lightning strike.

The crowd continues to chant Arnold Allen’s name to the sound of Max Verstappen’s song.

The main card kicks off with a featherweight bout between Ipswich’s Arnold Allen and Georgia’s Giga Chikadze.

Allen blocks an early high kick. And another. He is vigorous, while Chikadze is orthodox. Allen blocks ANOTHER head kick, then lands a body kick after catching Chikadze’s leg.

More kicks from Chikadze, who is now targeting Allen’s body. The Georgian misses with a back kick upstairs.

Both men partially land left hooks. Nice shot from Chikadze now as he moves back.

Wow! Allen gets dropped with a knee right before the bell, but he jumps back and hits a front dropkick to the face!

A doctor checks Pineda’s right eye, but the American is deemed OK to continue. He appeals to the crowd, which shows some love for the tourist.

Pineda shoots for a takedown from some distance and Wood defends with a guillotine before switching to side control after a scramble.

He stood up and let Pineda up. Front body kick from Wood before another fight ensues. The two are seated, with Wood on Pineda’s back. And from there, Pineda lands a nasty back elbow!

He turns around and goes up top where he tries a right arm but to no avail. Now he goes for the guillotine. Wood is probably two rounds up, but loses this frame.

Some decent elbows from Pineda as Wood tries to maintain half guard and limit the American’s options.

The featherweights trade low blows, before Wood lights up Pineda with a four-punch combination!

Pineda paws at his right eye, which swells up quickly. Again, it’s impressive that he’s still in this fight. He’s even landing some grazing rights now.

Pineda complains about a low kick and the action is stopped for now. Replays suggest Wood’s shot was not low…

Back on the road. Hard low kick from Pineda, then a harder one from Wood, who trips Pineda! And still, the same effect!

Now the American suffers a quick fall after a right hand from Wood! Pineda is back, but he’s soon put back together… He just won’t go away, though!

In the final preliminary bout of the night: London’s Nathaniel Wood takes on American Daniel Pineda at featherweight.

Wood with a low kick early on before a grappling exchange follows. Each man takes a turn holding the other to the fence before Wood returns.

A straight high smashes Wood. Oh! Speaking of grazing, Wood takes a cross off Pineda’s head and the American hits the canvas!

Wood with follow-up strikes, but Pineda is able to regain his composure and keep Wood in closed guard. Decent elbow from Pineda from the bottom, and another.

Great and American broom! A lovely hip bump. Now he works on a guillotine, but Wood defends well.

It’s amazing that Pineda survived that early scare.

McCann presses forward but goes for a jab. Both women land now. McCann forces Brasil into the cage and lands a front kick to the body.

Brasil misses with a spinning back elbow and is taken down, Chael Sonnen vs. Anderson Silva style, but he scrambles well to land on top! Soon she takes her back too.

Brasil flattens McCann and works on an arm-triangle choke, but McCann defends well. However, Brazil is in control.

The Brazilian stands up and lets McCann to her feet, then lands a hard knee! But McCann comes back with a one-two!

The crowd is so invested now! McCann almost lands a spinning back elbow – which he’s scored KOs with before… but Brazil stays calm and lands a lovely double leg takedown.

Brasil has McCann’s back and is almost seated against the cage wall. McCann rallies nicely and goes for an empty back choke which gets the crowd hoping but the submission isn’t there.

Bruna Brasil won. Molly McCann via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

A tough first round for Liverpool’s Molly McCann. She goes on a series of counter shots, including two body shots that nearly bend her over.

To her credit, she fights on and wins an extended grappling match. The crowd loves this.

But it is Brazil that ends the round on top.

McCann closes in and keeps Brazil on the fence, but the Brazilian’s defense holds for now…

But finally came the elimination! Big cheers in Manchester as ‘Meatball Molly’ knocks Brazil to the canvas. He soon backs off and allows Brazil to sit, he lies.

There is a chant in support of McCann, who is now forced to defend himself against the fence. She reverses the position, but Brasil gets a takedown.

The pair are standing, and Brazil scores a knockdown in the final seconds of the round!

Good cross from Hadley. Loughran targets the body again. Sharp shot by Hadley. Loughran drops a knee to the midsection. Hadley with his own photos.

Loughran dives for another double leg but to no avail. We’ll go to the scoreboards…

Loughran shoots for a single leg, then doubles as Hadley defends with a guillotine. But Loughran pokes his head out before the bantamweights move into space.

Loughran with some decent right hands. And again. He finds his distance as he backs up Hadley.

But Hadley fires back, and Loughran’s left eye begins to swell. The Irishman then lands a low kick, and we take a short break in the action.

Back on the road and Loughran lands some uppercuts to the body before shooting for a double leg against the fence.

He then moves to a single as he tries to pick it up and throw it to Hadley, who keeps his balance very well. Great defense from the Englishman.

But Loughran ends the round on top.

Next up is bantamweight action between Ireland’s Caolan Loughran and England’s Jake Hadley.

Hadley, stepping in at short notice but moving up a division, missed weight by a pound. As a result, he was fined 20% of his purse.

Hadley is standing. Loughran is Orthodox. Hadley kicks down. Clean cross of the Englishman now.

The left hand is working well for Hadley so far. He also kicks the ground frequently. Hadley blocks a body kick. Loughran presses forward but doesn’t throw much – and when he does, it doesn’t really land.

Another southpaw cross is on target for Hadley. Body shot from Loughran grounds. Hadley with a right to the body. A cross makes the connection for Loughran.
