Week of disruption around Sandwell’s roads as a number of roadworks are planned

Sandwell Council has published notices for residents in Rowley Regis, Wednesbury and Oldbury to advise of road closures and temporary speed limits in the early weeks of August as work takes place involving BT poles, water works, power connections sewerage and viaduct repairs.

There will be two sets of works in Rowley Regis, both starting on August 5, on Yew Tree Lane and Park Avenue.

Works at Yew Tree Lane will facilitate access to replace a damaged BT pole by Telent Technology Services Ltd and will have diversions along Carnegie Road, Ross, Powke Lane and Moor Lane between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
