Rangers have confirmed their starting XI against Birmingham City as Connor Goldson is ruled out ahead of an expected transfer

Rangers play their second last pre-season friendly tonight as they take on Birmingham City.

Philippe Clement’s side have had some decent practices against Ajax and Manchester United but will be hoping to start getting into the habit of winning ahead of the Premiership season and fans will expect to see it against League One opposition as well. There has been a lot of speculation about transfers in and out, but the players who remain for now have a job to do.

The main talking point before this was around Connor Goldson, who surprisingly looked fit to play days after jetting off to Cyprus to sign talks with Aris Limassol. But it emerged earlier that he has pulled out once again with a transfer close to being agreed between the two clubs.

Those taking to the field tonight are now known after the squads have been released.
