The Audi was seized by police after the driver pulled over in Bradford for not wearing a seat belt

A driver who was stopped for not wearing a seat belt had his Audi impounded after police discovered the vehicle had no insurance.

Officers from the Steerside Enforcement Team stopped the Audi on Ringwood Road on the Canterbury estate.

Further checks revealed that the Audi was not insured.

The car was impounded and the driver was sent to court.

The Steerside enforcement team said: “While on patrol in the Canterbury area we brought this Audi to a stop on Ringwood Road due to the driver not wearing a seat belt.

“Also, it was found that they are not insured.

“Vehicle impounded and driver notified.”
