Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds formed after the acrimonious break-up of Oasis in 2009, which was sparked by a backstage row between Noel and brother Liam.

The brothers are yet to resolve their feud, but Noel recently discussed the prospect of an Oasis reunion now that he and the band members are “of a certain age”.

The 56-year-old told The Sun: “My hair was a bit thicker in Oasis. We should see what everyone’s hair looks like.”

High Flying Birds released their fourth studio album Council Skies in June. The chart-topping LP, their first since 2017, featured a collaboration with The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
