Northfield stabbing while the man suffers serious injuries and was rushed to the trauma center

A man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Birmingham. Paramedics treated the man who suffered serious injuries over the weekend.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said they sent crews to Ingoldsby Road, near Popes Lane, in Northfield, along with Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, just after 8.30pm yesterday, Sunday 21 July.

The victim was taken by ground ambulance to a major trauma center. BirminghamLive has contacted West Midlands Police for comment.

An ambulance service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 8.36pm to reports of a stabbing in Ingoldsby Road, Northfield. An ambulance, paramedic officer, critical care car and Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended. Crews treated a man who suffered serious injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to a major trauma center for further care.”
