Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crashing with car in London

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after crashing with a car in Feltham.

The incident happened in Westmacott Drive at around 9.45am yesterday (July 28).

Police and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found the rider, a man in his 20s, injured.

He was transported to the hospital, where he continues to receive treatment for his injuries.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and gave first aid to the rider.

No arrests have been made as police inquiries continue into the circumstances.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a collision in Feltham.

“Police were called at around 9.45am on Sunday, July 28, to reports of a collision involving a motorbike and a car on Westmacott Drive.

“Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene. The rider – a man in his 20s – was taken to hospital.

“He continues to receive treatment for his injuries and his family have been informed.

“The driver of the car stopped at the scene and gave first aid to the rider. They are assisting the police in their investigation. They were not arrested.

“Detectives from the Road and Transport Police Command are investigating.

“They would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who captured it on their dash cam or CCTV.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8543 5157 or 101 quoting CAD 2466/28Jul.”
