Greenford North London Golf Academy launches with Anglia Golf – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

Golfers in the capital look set to benefit as the North London Golf Academy (NLGA) in Greenford has signed an affiliation with England Golf, which will bring more people to the game.

The NLGA offers players a wide range of practice to learn golf as well as improve skills, which includes interactive practice courses for both new and experienced golfers.

The academy is also preparing to further cater to younger players in the local community with the nearby Brent Valley Golf Club. The club, through its Parakeets program, helps engage young people in the sport who previously had no access to golf.

Giulio Merolla, Director and Head Professional at the NLGA said: “We are proud to be part of England Golf’s affiliation scheme and look forward to working in tandem with the game’s governing body to deliver on our aim to make golf more accessible for the people of London. “

He added: “In the future, this will be the route for many to golf and sport as people enjoy the incredible benefits that sport brings to everyone’s social, physical and mental health.”

Matt Draper, Club, County and Members Director at England Golf commented: “The North London Golf Academy is one of the most exciting golf facilities in England. The innovative technology and interactive way they bring new people to the sport encapsulates exactly why we offer the affiliate program.”

Mr Draper added: “We look forward to working closely with the NLGA to continue to promote and support their excellent work in the local community while continuing to boost participation in all forms of sport.”
