Shauna Legge joins Leeds United Women

Leeds United Women are pleased to announce the signing of Shauna Legge, who joins the club from Halifax Women.

The Leeds-born defender featured in the Northern Premier League last term, starting all 22 matches as Halifax finished sixth in the highly competitive division.

Starting out at Beeston Juniors, the 29-year-old went on to represent Bradford City and Huddersfield Town before joining Halifax in 2019.

A leader on the pitch, Shauna has captained the team since the start of the 2022/23 season, bringing a wealth of experience as he joins the Whites ahead of their upcoming FAWNL Division One North campaign.

Legge becomes the club’s first signing of the summer and joins Simon Wood’s squad for pre-season training.
