The 5 London boroughs with the most bike commuters revealed

Bikes are a cheaper, greener and healthier way to get around, so it’s no wonder that cycling has become a right of passage for many Londoners in recent years – especially when commuting. The total number of daily bicycle trips in the capital totals 1.26 million, and mpeople ore as ever in London I use Lime bikes.

If you’re curious about which London neighborhoods love bike commuting the most, look no further. In Lime’s exclusive official statistics from January to March 2024, the mobility company revealed the top five neighborhoods where commuters travel the most by bike.

Ranked lime data Southwark as London’s number one borough for Lime bikes in the first quarter of 2024. It’s no surprise that Southwark came first as the borough is extremely well connected (and close) to the city centre.

It has also contributed to the popularity of cycling in Hackney and the number of popular bakeries in the neighbourhood.
