Real EFL predict 2024/25 League Two final table –

There are just two weeks left until the new League 2 season kicks off, filling supporters with anticipation of what’s to come. We challenged our writers to try to predict the final meal. Who do we think will be celebrating in May?

The fourth tier of English football constantly offers surprises. More often than not, those who have come from the National League tend to be just as competitive in the EFL. Wrexham secured back-to-back promotions last season while Stockport County were crowned champions in just their second year in the division.

Chesterfield and Bromley are the latest pair to try their luck after dropping out of non-league. It is the Spirites who are expected to challenge at the top of the table after running away with the National League.

MK Dons are also one of the favorites after pushing the top three all the way before their play-off capitulation. Meanwhile, the four teams relegated from League One will be hoping their stay in League Two is a short one.

Predicted final table League Two

The team believe MK Dons will bounce back from last season’s play-off heartbreak to secure the title, while Doncaster Rovers’ stunning finish to the campaign will continue. They will be joined in promotion by Port Vale, who are expected to return to League One at the first time of asking.

The top seven is completed by Carlisle United, Crewe Alexandra, Bradford City and Chesterfield, the latter of whom will be delighted if they can make the play-offs on their return to the EFL. Of that quartet, four of our writers reckon Carlisle will emerge victorious at Wembley for the second time in three years.

At the other end, Bromley is surviving by the skin of his teeth. However, the same cannot be said for Newport County and Morecambe, who finished 23rd and 24th respectively in our survey.
