StillRyan apologizes to fans, says it’s ‘crazy’

StillRyan was supported as he apologized to his followers. Ryan Hall, from Croxteth, has been creating content across a range of social channels for several years as part of his ‘Still Gang’ brand with a focus on positivity.

Ryan often goes to people on the streets of Merseyside asking them questions about viral crazes, football or just how their day is going. However, last weekend was a departure from that as he took part in UFC 304 at the AO Arena in Manchester.

Ryan cheered on fellow Scousers Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett and ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann. Paddy defeated his opponent, King Green, in the first round of his fight. However, Molly lost on points to Brunei Brasil.

Ryan was invited to the event to create content for the UFC. As part of this, his jubilant reaction to Paddy’s win was filmed and posted on his social media channels at 5am on Sunday 28th July, shortly after Paddy’s fight finished. Ryan received some criticism for this. One said his reactions were “unbelievable and fake”, while another said it was “unbearable”.

At 12.20pm, Ryan said he was surprised by the negative reaction to his video. He posted on X/Twitter: “Crazy the amount of shit I got up to man. I’m a 21-year-old kid who’s from Croxteth and I’ve been offered the chance to work for the UFC and people call me out for the reactions to the footage. I take advantage of every possible opportunity because I’ve worked every day for it. Maybe I should have expected it, but I’m really shocked. I don’t know, it is what it really is.”

Later that evening, Ryan claimed he overreacted after being sleep-deprived. Emphasizing that he wants to spread positivity, he said: “I’ve been reflecting on it. I woke up from 24 hours awake with four hours kip and the first thing I saw were the negatives. But after a day of evaluation on half a tank, I’m fine.

“The positives outweigh everything. It was my fault for bringing it to everyone’s attention, but now I’m going to shut it down so we can keep crushing it, trying to make people’s day.”

Many of his fans supported this message in their responses. Les Boyce said, “Good on you, keep doing what you want and ignore everyone else.”
