Police are looking for a man who is believed to be involved in the attack on pet rabbits in Croydon Park

Police are searching for a man who allegedly killed six pet rabbits and injured two others in a horrific attack in Sydney’s west.

The attack happened at a house on Mitchell Street in Croydon Park at around 6.45am on Sunday.

Police were called to the home “following reports of animal cruelty” and found that six pet rabbits had been killed and two others injured, which were taken to a local vet for treatment.

An unknown man was seen near the home at the time of the attack.

The man is described as being of Asian appearance, around 180cm tall, with short black hair and wearing cream trousers and a tan shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
