Highlights: The women’s teams draw with Leicester City in their last home game of the season

West Ham United Women’s Team earned a hard-fought point in their final home clash of the 2023/24 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign against Leicester City at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

A quick start saw the Hammers take an early lead through Riko Ueki’s well-worked finish, only for Sophie Howard’s header to restore parity after 36 minutes.

The Irons came under considerable pressure in the second half but defended resolutely to secure a share of the spoils.
