Millwall boss hopes for positive news on injured trio – South London News

Millwall head coach Neil Harris is still waiting to discover the extent of injuries to Murray Wallace, Niino Adom-Malaki and Zian Flemming.

Wallace and Malaki were forced off with problems in Friday’s friendly against Real Murcia in Alicante. Flemming did not play against the Spanish team.

Asked if there was an update, Harris said South London Press yesterday: “No, not yet. We hope for positive news on Niino, Murray and Zian Flemming, who did not play the last game.

“Hutch trained fully while we were there. The reason Hutch didn’t play against Murcia was because he was sick.

“Having Hutch involved this week is a priority for us. Connal Trueman returns to the practice squad.”

Flemming has a quirk.

“It was a precaution (not to play with it), but we couldn’t do a scan while we were gone,” Harris said. “Zian did a scan, we’re just waiting for the results.”
