Missing 6-year-old girl found ‘safe and well’ 21 hours after last CCTV sighting in Thamesmead

A missing 6-year-old girl has been found “safe and well”, 21 hours after she was last seen on CCTV in south-east London. Eudine was reported missing to the Met Police at 10.40pm on Monday evening (July 29).

Police searched CCTV cameras and found a toddler in the Thamesmead Estate at around midday earlier that day. Locals in the area have been urged to check their sheds, gardens and doorbell footage to find her.




Greenwich MPs told X early this morning: “URGENT – MISSING PERSON CALL: Have you seen six-year-old Eudine? We are extremely concerned for her welfare and officers are making urgent inquiries to find her.

“She was reported missing from the Thamesmead Estate in Greenwich at 10.40pm on Monday. Eudine was seen alone on CCTV around midday.

“We are asking local residents to call us immediately with any information on her whereabouts. If you live in or near Thamesmead, please check gardens, sheds and locked areas, as well as any CCTV footage or doorbells.

“Eudine is between 3’6” and 4′ tall and is believed to be wearing a light pink long-sleeved pajama set. She was also carrying a white shoulder bag with a daisy design.”

This morning, Tuesday July 30, the Greenwich branch of the Metropolitan Police Service tweeted at 9.39am to confirm that they have now found Eudine. They said on X: “UPDATE: We are very pleased to report that six-year-old Eudine has been found safe and well. A big thank you to everyone who shared the call.”
