Man charged after South Croydon stabbing; victim is ‘stable’ – Inside Croydon

The Metropolitan Police have made an arrest in connection with Saturday night’s stabbing in Heathfield Road, South Croydon, which left a 22-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

The Met says the victim’s condition is unchanged, although he is now “stable” in hospital.

The incident led to the lockdown of St. Peter’s churchyard throughout the day on Sunday.

Today the Met released a statement to Inside Croydon saying: “A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and released on bail.”

Police say “Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or X @MetCC quoting CAD 6360/27JUL24. You can also give anonymous information to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
