DreamWorks Animation teases ‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’ Season 2.

Yesterday during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, DreamWorks Animation announced new episodes from season 2 of Jurassic World: Chaos Theorywhich debuts on Netflix on October 17. The 3DCG animated series picks up after the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen, ushering in a new era of chaos.

Attendees at the event included executive producers Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley and series cast members Paul-Mikél Williams; Sean Giambrone; Darren Barnett; Raini Rodriguez; Kausar Mohammed; Kiersten Kelly; and moderator Drew Taylor, reporter at The Wrap. The highlight of the panel was an advanced screening of episode 1 of S2.

In Season 2, six years after the events of Camp Cretaceous, members of “The Nublar Six” struggle to find their feet off the islands, navigating a world now filled with dinosaurs and humans who want to hurt them. Brought together by tragedy, the group reunites only to find themselves on the run and catapulted into a global adventure to unravel a conspiracy that threatens dinosaur and mankind alike, and finally learn the truth about what happened to one of They.

Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow and Frank Marshall are executive producers along with Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley who are also showrunners. The supervising producer is Zesung Kang. The series is produced by DreamWorks Animation.
