Police have released the name of the man wanted after the “violent attack” at the home

Police have named a man they want to find after a “violent attack” at a home in Rugby. They say the serious assault took place at a property in Câmpul de Castani in the early hours of this morning (July 30).

“At around 1.40am this morning, July 30, a suspect is believed to have entered a property in Chestnut Field and carried out a violent attack,” a Warwickshire Police spokesman said. No details of the incident have been released, nor have any victims been released.

But the force has released the name of a man they say they need to speak to. “When police were called, the suspect fled and officers now believe 29-year-old Amandeep Kang may have information that is key to the investigation,” the force spokesman added.

“Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
