Ipswich stars brilliantly troll Sky Sports pundit Leeds in booze parade to celebrate Premier League promotion

SKY SPORTS pundit Don Goodman was on the receiving end of brutal trolling during Ipswich’s promotion parade.

The Tractor Boys celebrated promotion back to the Premier League – which they secured with a second-place finish in the Championship – with a boozy parade on Monday afternoon.

Kieran Mckenna’s men were understandably in a jovial mood as they were cheered on by hordes of supporters as they rode around in an open top bus.

But Luke Woolfenden made sure to take his time to strike Goodman, who had earlier spoiled the East Anglian club’s chances of a return to the Prem.

He told Sky: “I’ve got to sit for six weeks now and listen to Don Goodman tell us we’re not good enough to do anything in the Premier League.

“It looks like we’re going to finish mid-table (in the Championship), Don, but don’t worry about it.”

The Ipswich fans loved Goodman’s frenzy, with one saying: “F***ing love you, Luke Woolfenden”.

Another said: “I like this guy.”

One remarked: “What a boy.”

Another chimed in: “Great to hear someone calling out Don Goodman.

“Always has a fascination/bias towards one team.”

Woolfenden wasn’t the only Ipswich star to take aim at Goodman, with one unknown player shouting: “Don Goodman says we’ll still bottle him!”

Kayden Jackson even chimed in, shouting: “Leeds are down again.”

Hundreds of fans at Christchurch Park then erupted into a chorus of: “Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again!”

Ipswich gaffer McKenna chose not to call out his side’s detractors, instead reflecting on the side’s momentous return to the Prem – from which they were relegated in the 2001-2 season.

He said heaven Sport: “It’s an incredible turnout, amazing to see so much joy.

“Everyone deserves it, the whole city deserves it, the players… for how hard they’ve worked.

“And the fans, who have followed us so loyally for years and waited for such a day.

“We set out to be as good as possible.

“The closer you get to the end, you know you’re within reach of an amazing achievement and we’re so glad we were able to finish well.”
