US Individual Comprehensive Hospital & Medical grew 22.1% to $4.22 billion

OLDWICK, NJ //BestWire// – According to a new Best’s Rankings report, individual comprehensive contracts for hospital and medical accident and health premiums rose 22.1% last year to $4.22 billion.

Aetna Life Group jumped to No. 3 from No. 10 a year earlier with $341.8 million in accident and health contracts.

UnitedHealth Life Cos. moved to No. 2 from No. 4, up 142.3% to $577.3 million in deals.

Cigna Life Group was one of two top 20 writers to maintain its rank from the previous year. It held the No. 1 spot, up 20.1 percent to $2.47 billion in casualty and health contracts.
