ITV’s The Chase’s Bradley Walsh surprised by player ‘proposes’

Chase’s Bradley Walsh was left in a tizzy after confessing to a player’s wedding on today’s show.

The 63-year-old was given another batch of four quizzes on Tuesday’s edition of the popular game show. Julian, Lizzie, Jane and Rocky were testing their wits against Paul Sinha in an attempt to win a huge cash prize.

Julian was number one and the 32-year-old was hoping to raise funds for his upcoming wedding. He told the host: “We’re getting married next year.”

The host quickly replied, “You and me? That’s news to me. But hey, I think you’re a nice guy and I find you strangely attractive.”

However, the player clarified that he was with his partner Emily, who he joked was yet to be told the news. Bradley replied: “It was a surprise to both of us.”

The player went on to put in an incredible performance as he won £7,000 in the cash-builder before advancing to the final round. He was joined in the Final Chase by Rocky and Lizzie as they competed for £18,000.

The team took 15 steps, but came away empty-handed, getting caught with 23 seconds left.
