Arne Slot may already have an answer to Liverpool’s biggest problem

Liverpool have had a real problem keeping control of games this season. Even amid the obvious improvement from the previous campaign, Jürgen Klopp’s side looked vulnerable.

This was clear to see again on Monday when the Reds let go of a 3-1 lead at Aston Villa and had to settle for a 3-3 draw. Obviously, Klopp won’t be there to solve this problem in the summer, but Arne Slot may already have the answer.

Anthony Gordon sends message to Newcastle amid Liverpool links

Anthony Gordon is the surprise subject of transfer links to Liverpool at the moment. Given his background at Everton, it would be quite a change for the Cards if he did end up at Anfield in the future.

Maybe it’s not such a far-fetched idea, though. The 23-year-old has links with the Reds, having started out with their academy before moving to Everton and grew up idolizing Steven Gerrard.

Newcastle certainly wouldn’t let him go cheap, with the Daily Star suggesting at least $126m (£100m/€116m) would be needed to lure him away from St James’ Park. As speculation continues, Gordon has a message for Newcastle fans.
