Trump Falsely Claims Kamala Harris’ Rally Crowd Is Generated By Artificial Intelligence

Former President Donald Trump has advanced a new line of attack against Vice President Kamala Harris.

Now she is falsely accusing Harris of using artificial intelligence to generate an image of a large crowd in Michigan, further claiming that “no one was expecting her” at the airport on Wednesday when she arrived for the rally.

“Did anyone notice that Kamala PEELED at the airport?” he wrote in a Sunday Truth Social post. “There was no one on the plane and she ‘AI’d” and showed a massive ‘crowd’ of so-called followers BUT THEY DIDN’T EXIST!

He added that footage of the event, particularly the one that showed the reflection of the airport’s surroundings on the fuselage of Air Force Two, proved that Harris “wasn’t waiting for ANYONE.”

Unfortunately for him, the crowds were in fact, very real.

A rally video posted on X first zoomed in on Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, as they descended the stairs of Air Force Two, before zooming out to show the crowd of supporters in the airport hangar.

The Harris-Walz campaign told CNBC that the photo of the crowd was “an actual photo of a crowd of 15,000 people for Harris-Walz of Michigan.”

Their rallies drew large crowds across the country. Friday’s rally in Glendale, Arizona, also had more than 15,000 participants, according to The Guardian.

David Plouffe, a senior campaign adviser to Harris, criticized Trump on X, writing, “These are not conspiratorial revelations from the deepest depths of the Internet. The perpetrator could have the nuclear codes and be responsible for decisions that will affect us all for decades. “

Walz also mocked Trump at a rally in Glendale on Friday, saying, “You know, it’s not like nobody cares about the size of the crowd or anything.”

Trump is known to care a lot about crowd sizes.

On Thursday, he said he drew a bigger crowd on Jan. 6 than Martin Luther King Jr. did in 1963.

People certainly showed up at Trump’s rallies. But a video posted by conservative network RSBN showed that Trump’s rally in Bozeman, Montana, on Friday seemed a little empty.

Although Trump wasn’t speaking at the time, the video panned to show the audience and also captured a photo of a large part of the venue where there were rows of empty seats.

The former president has also been historically averse to using AI for his campaign efforts.

In a June 14 podcast with controversial social media influencer Logan Paul, he said someone on his team rewrote his speech using AI.

“He’s clicking, clicking, clicking, and 15 seconds later he’s showing me my speech, written so beautifully,” he told Paul. “I said, I’m going to use this sucker.”

Representatives for Trump and Harris did not immediately respond to Business Insider’s after-hours requests for comment.
