Exclusive-Turkey happy with F-16 deal with US, defense minister says By Reuters

ANKARA (Reuters) – Turkey is satisfied with the deal with the United States on the purchase of Block-70 F-16 fighter jets and upgrade kits and the process is proceeding according to plan, Defense Minister Yasar Guler said.

“We hope that the project will be completed smoothly by the time the last jet is delivered,” Guler said in written responses to Reuters questions, adding that officials from the two NATO allies were still discussing the details of the deal.
