To get consumers who are concerned about inflation to spend chain, McDonald’s is going bigger than a Big Macand for that, bigger than a Grand Mac, too.

Cue the Big Arch. What makes Big Arch different from its cousins? Well, so far we know it includes two beef patties, layered melted cheese, “crunchy” toppings and a dollop of tangy sauce, according to the chain’s CEO Chris Kempczinski.

Especially, too weighs More. For comparison, the Big Mac weighs about 7.6 ounces. The most powerful Grand Mac weighs about 11.4 ounces (even with four buns). Notably, the Big Arch comes in at 14 oz., per McDonald’s Portugal.

McDonald’s is piloting the special burger in select markets, including Portugal and Canada – notably, Canada is one of the first regions where McDonald’s has expanded the quest for international dominance in 1967.

McDonald’s executives hasn’t explicitly said if Big Arch will make its way to the US (yet). But the chain was hint for months that she can recover consumers with bigger burgers, more chicken and a better coffee experience.

That has not yet been seen; actually of the chain second quarter earnings were not so good. Despite missing the mark, McDonald’s is hell bent on keeping their competitive edge through its popular extension $5 meal deal to avoid competitors like Starbucks, Burger King, at Wendy’s, Taco Bell, from Arby’s, Chipotle, Shack Shakeand even Sonic.
