Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 to be launched on November 7th! » EngineOctane

Royal Enfield has shared a sneak peek of the upcoming Himalayan 450. The bike is white with a split seat, a round LED headlamp and a tall front wing. The Himalayan 450 is still largely design-wise inspired by the current generation Himalayan 411, with the front beak design and headlamps connecting the instrument cluster and fuel tank. The Tellis frame, larger fuel tank and revised handlebars and footpegs give the bike a more purposeful look.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Specifications

The Himalayan 450 comes with a new 450cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine. This engine should be capable of producing 40 PS and 45 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox and we believe there could also be a slipper and assist clutch. Other new mechanical bits should include a new front suspension. Suspension should be better with the USD forks and hopefully Royal Enfield has increased the suspension travel.

Characteristics

In terms of features, we expect the bike to have connected technology, better charging ports and plugin ports for lights and auxin accessories. We are sure that the Royal Enfield 450 will have a large number of accessories in store with luggage options, skid plates, toe guards and more. There will still be an option to disable rear ABS to go off-road and maybe traction control too.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Launch and Prices

The Himalayan 450 will be launched on November 7, 2023. It is expected to be priced around Rs 3 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Once launched, it will rival bikes like BMW 310 GS and KTM 390 ADV.
