Live updates as Leicestershire road closed for ’emergency’ repairs.

The A42 southbound in Leicestershire has been closed this afternoon (Wednesday 15 May) following “emergency repairs to infrastructure faults”, traffic service INRIX reports. The road was closed from J13 A511 for Ashby and Coalville to J12 B4116 for Measham and Ashby.

INRIX previously reported that all traffic was stopped. Now he said the southbound route was closed.
