Teenagers arrested after police make shocking discovery inside ‘suspicious’ car.

Police have arrested two teenagers after stopping a “suspicious” looking car in the Black Country. Officers discovered a zombie knife inside the vehicle, as well as cannabis and scales.

They arrested two men, both aged 19, following the bust in Palfrey, Walsall, just before 7.20pm on Tuesday 14 May. The men were arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife and possession of Class B drugs.




It comes as West Midlands Police continue Project Guardian, which aims to reduce knife crime in the area. A spokesman for the force said: “We arrested two men and recovered a zombie knife and drugs after a vehicle was searched in Walsall.

“Officers from our Project Guardian team were on patrol in Palfrey shortly before 7.20pm yesterday (Tuesday) when they came across a suspicious car. We searched the vehicle and recovered a knife, cannabis and scales.

“We arrested two men, both aged 19, and they were taken into custody on suspicion of possessing a knife and possession of Class B drugs. Project Guardian officers are a team that aims to reduce violent crime with a focus on reducing knife crime among young people.

“The Western team covering Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton aims to tackle knife crime and youth violence through enforcement and education. They carry out our regular patrols focusing on knife crime hotspots.”
