Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2024: Season Four Registrations Open

– It will include four zonal selections in India

Royal Enfield has announced the fourth season of the Continental GT Cup in India. Entries for the GT Cup are now open, encouraging amateurs and would-be racers to showcase their racing talent in this retro-style racing program.

For 2024, Royal Enfield is expanding its coverage with zonal selections in Guwahati, Bangalore, Pune and New Delhi. These races will give amateur riders a chance to demonstrate their skills and possibly qualify for the main event. The top 12 riders from each zone will proceed to the final selections at Kari, Coimbatore. Ultimately, these 48 amateur riders will battle it out against 50 professional riders, with the fastest 12 riders earning a spot on the final grid. The details of the selection round are as follows.

Royal Enfield retains the popular Pro-Am format where amateurs and professionals compete wheel to wheel. This year, they are adding a new twist to the competition by introducing teams. Each professional rider will be paired with an amateur, creating a whole new strategic element to the race.

The season starts in June with the final selections from 27-30 June 2024 at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. The racing show will have three rounds and eight races. The official races will be held over three weekends in September (9-11 and 13-15) and November (15-17), with the grand finale culminating at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida.

Similar to the previous three seasons, the Continental GT Cup will be part of the 2024 JK National Racing Championship and is certified by the Federation of Cub Motorsports of India (FMSCI).
