SUMMERSTOWN – A more than week-long search for a missing Newfoundland truck driver has ended in tragedy.

In an update Monday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police said the body of 51-year-old Brian Lush has been found.

Police did not say where he was found, but said nothing criminal is suspected.

“Out of respect for the family, no further details will be released,” spokesman Bill Dickson said.

Searchers had been combing the area around the Petro-Pass truck stop at Summerstown station since Lush was reported missing on April 24.
