Sheffield United fans: Should your club vote to scrap VAR?

Wednesday, The Athletic has revealed that Premier League clubs are to hold a vote at their annual general meeting next month on the proposal to scrap the video assistant referee (VAR) system from the start of next season.

VAR has been used in the English top flight since 2019, helping to improve decision-making but also generating persistent controversy.

A resolution has now been officially tabled to the Premier League by Wolverhampton Wanderers calling for VAR to be scrapped this summer – and which will trigger a vote when representatives from the 20 clubs gather for their annual meeting in Harrogate on June 6.

Premier League clubs have the constitutional right to propose rule changes, with any proposal needing a two-thirds majority (14-6) to be approved.

We ask the subscribers of each club how they would like their team to vote. Give your verdict in the poll below and explain your position in the comments.
