As it turns out, Dune: Part Two monstrosity in the shape of a sandworm that AMC passed off as a bucket of popcorn wasn’t the only one of its kind. In fact, as of 2019, AMC apparently he committed a crime sell all kinds of collectible buckets tied to the biggest blockbusters of the year, from Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker TO Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. This year, they’ve had a blast selling themed buckets after a bunch of blockbusters and family-centric movies that tend to attract huge audiences who live and die for that kind of stuff. It’s all a racket, I tell you, but a racket that has spawned a bigger market than I was led to believe. Cinemark and other movie theater chains jumped on the bandwagon, too, and by now there are people with enough of these buckets at home to call it honest to goodness. collectionand their interest in them an obsession.

And scary, we may be just at the beginning of this trend. Since first going down this rabbit hole earlier this year, theater chains have only continued to churn out the weirdest and most imaginative buckets of collectible popcorn, from cute to edgy. On the one hand, there is a baby carrier for Despicable Me 4 which I simply must have. On the other hand, there is also a Chestburster bucket from Foreign or Wolverine’s mouth. What are we doing here? I have come to you all with my findings. I’m so sorry. Here are some of the best and absolute worst popcorn buckets you can pick up.

For real US dollars.

Of your own free will.

For some reason.
