Alliant names Aguirre to lead new commercial surety practice

Alliant Insurance Servicesbased in Irvine, Calif., named Alliant Specialty Senior Vice President Orlando Aguirre as leader of its newly launched Alliant Commercial Surety.

Based in Houston, Aguirre joined Alliant as a senior vice president in 2021 and has experience in the energy, healthcare and commercial surety industries. Prior to joining Alliant, Aguirre was senior vice president at Marsh, responsible for all collateral operations for Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
