Taiwan stocks up at close; Taiwan rose 0.09% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Taiwan, it gained 0.09%.

The best performers of the session on the were Dane Technology Corp (TW:), which rose 10.00% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.60 at the close. Meanwhile, EZconn Corp (TW:) added 10.00% or 40.50 points to end at 445.50 and Taiwan Chelic Corp Ltd (TW: ) was up 9.99% or 4.45 points to trade at 49.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lead data Inc (TW: ), which declined 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Arima Communications Corp (TW: ) declined 9.83% or 0.23 points to end at 2.11 and King’s Town Construction Co Ltd (TW: ) declined 9.19% or 12.50 points to end at 2.11 , up to 123.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares of Arima Communications Corp (TW:) fell to all-time lows; losing 9.83% or 0.23 to 2.11.

Crude oil for October delivery fell 0.21%, or 0.15, to $71.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for October delivery fell 0.05%, or 0.04, to $76.01 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.22 % or 5.70, to $2,541.80 a troy ounce.

USD/TWD rose 0.09% to 31.96, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.04% to 0.22.

US dollar index futures rose 0.19% to 101.10.
