“My birth destroyed everything good in my life,” Louise Thompson says of motherhood

Reality star Louise Thompson has heartbreakingly confessed that her birth “destroyed everything good in her life”. In a candid interview with YOU Magazine, the former Made In Chelsea star spoke bravely about being a mother.

A mum-of-one says the traumatic birth of her son Leo left her ‘wishing she was dead’. In the interview, she reveals what happened during and after the birth and how she has now learned to enjoy motherhood.

Louise gave birth to Leo on 15 November 2021 after suffering a miscarriage in 2020. She had an emergency C-section and claims the procedure went badly wrong while she was awake.

The TV icon says she was initially denied a C-section. But, the operation left her with “significant bleeding” after rupturing her womb.

She said she could barely look at her baby after the traumatic birth and worried her fiance would leave her. Still, she says, “What I’ve been through has made me a better parent.”

Taking to Instagram, the new mom shared the release of the interview with her 1.4 million followers. Alongside a magazine cover photo of her holding Leo, she wrote: “The birth destroyed everything good in my life.”

She added: “I got a little scared when I read those words (you don’t get approval for things like that). But that’s probably because I’ve never seen them written that way before.

“I can’t argue with them though. I meant those words when I said them. It’s sad but true.
