Woman found dead in Bodmin

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the matter but has since been released without further charge

A woman has been found dead at an address in Bodmin.

Police were called at around 12.45pm on Monday 13 May following a welfare concern for a woman at an address in Forth an Venegh, Bodmin.

The 40-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

A security guard has been installed while police investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the matter but has since been released without further charges.

The death is now not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
