Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell delivers his keynote address Friday morning at the central bank’s annual retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Breaking: Fed Chair Powell Hints at Interest Rate Cuts Ahead – ‘It’s Time for Policy to Adjust’

Powell was expected to chart a path forward that includes interest rate cuts as the pace of inflation eases and concerns grow about the sustainability of the US economic expansion.

In previous years, he used Jackson Hole to present significant political initiatives and intentions. Markets generally expect the Fed to start cutting interest rates in September and continue with a series of cuts through at least 2025.
