Columbia stocks fall at close of trade; COLCAP was down 0.30% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The best performers of the session were Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: ), which was up 4.95% or 1,260.00 points to trade at 26,740.00 points at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC: ) added 4.61% or 350.00 points to end at 7,950.00 and Etc (BVC: ) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to trade at 81.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: ), which declined 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: ) declined 3.89% or 920.00 points to 22,760.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ) declined 2.40% or 50.00 points to 2,035.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US C coffee for December delivery rose 1.42% or 3.45 to $246.35. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery rose 1.34% or 104.00 to hit $7,854.00, while December gold futures rose 1.27% or 32.00 to trade at $2,548.70 a troy ounce.

USD/COP fell 1.24% to 4,024.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.51% to 733.46.

US dollar index futures fell 0.82% to 100.57.
