Turkey stocks lower at close of trade; BIST 100 down 1.06% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Istanbul, the declined 1.06% to hit a new 3-month low.

The best performers of the session on the were Baticim Bati Anadolu Cimento Sanayi AS (IS:), which rose 7.56% or 15.50 points to trade at 220.50 at the close. Meanwhile, CIMS Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:) added 4.18% or 1.40 points to end at 34.90 and Kontrolmatik Teknoloji Enerji ve Mu (IS:) was up 3.81% or 1.80 points to 49.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Kayseri Seker Fabrikasi AS (IS:), which fell 9.33% or 2.46 points to trade at 23.90 at the close. Kardemir Karabuk Demir Celik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS Class D (IS:) declined 6.92% or 1.70 points to end at 22.86 and Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:) was down 6.72% or 1.90 points to 26.36.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 457 to 103 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Baticim Bati Anadolu Cimento Sanayi AS (IS:) rose to all time highs; up 7.56% or 15.50 to 220.50.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.10% or 2.65 to $2,548.95 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.98% or 2.23 to hit $77.06 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 2.41% or 1.88 to trade at $80.03 a barrel.

USD/TRY was up 0.14% to 34.01, while EUR/TRY fell 0.19% to 37.98.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 100.72.
