At least 30 dead in Sudan dam collapse, toll could be much higher, UN says By Reuters

CAIRO (Reuters) – At least 30 people have been killed after a dam collapsed in Sudan, the United Nations said on Monday, citing local officials, adding that the total number could be much higher.

Twenty villages were also destroyed by the dam collapse, and the houses of 50,000 households were destroyed or damaged.
