Although Devin’s personality clashes with some of the other contestants, his relationship with Jenn has grown stronger over time. Before the hometowns, they expressed that they are falling for each other.

“I feel like Devin and I have a very unique connection that not a lot of people can understand,” Jenn says in week four.

“I think he’s someone who could be my future fiance,” she says.

Devin is the owner of a trucking company in Houston

After attending Louisiana State University from 2014 to 2019, Devin worked as Vice President of Purchasing at Shark Logistics.

As of March 2023, he owns F1 Freight Consultants, a consulting firm in Texas.

Devin’s mom is his hero

Family is a big deal for Devin. In the season premiere, Devin, who was raised by a single mother, said that his family-oriented mindset stems from a difficult upbringing.

During a one-on-one with Jenn, Devin attributed his talkative personality to being the oldest in his family.

“I had to be vocal,” he said. “My mom was a single mom, so I was there a lot for my younger brother, and it wasn’t always the easiest for us growing up, so I kind of put that chip on my shoulder and it turned into a great personality for me.”

He is the proud owner of a dog named Charlie

Devin got the pup in July 2018. According to Devin’s bio on the ABC website, they are “a bundle of joy” and spending time with Charlie, now 7, is one of his favorite pastimes.

During the season premiere, Devin said his perfect life involves a happy family with a wife, kids and maybe dogs.

He is an avid runner

Fitness is a big part of Devin’s life, and his Instagram profile includes a Story Highlight dedicated to running, a favorite hobby when he’s not working.

It’s such a big part of life that Devin introduced Jenn to his running club friends during hometown week on “The Bachelorette.” He also explained that one of his friends started the Good Guys Run Club and helped him get out of his “funk”.

In addition to being part of the running club, Devin also ran a 200 mile relay race with his friends.
