Insurtech Root, Goosehead Technology Integration Partner for Independent Agents

Root, Inc., the parent company of Root Insurance, has partnered with personal insurance agency Goosehead Insurance, Inc. in a technology integration partnership that they said will accelerate Goosehead agents’ ability to sell Root insurance products.

“Root and Goosehead have identified a unique opportunity to leverage our combined technology strengths to streamline the insurance buying process,” said Jason Shapiro, senior vice president of business development at insurtech Root, based in Columbus, Ohio. “This partnership is focused on creating a fast and easy quoting experience for agents while providing a great insurance product at a competitive price for customers.”

The partnership combines Root’s quote delivery system with Goosehead’s Quote to Issue platform to create a fully embedded insurance product to simplify the distribution process – guiding agents from application, personalization of cover and payment 50% faster than before, they said the companies.
