Aldi warning urgently as customers told them not to eat meat products

Aldi customers are being warned not to eat certain meat products in an urgent health and safety notice.

When an item is recalled, customers are advised not to consume it and return it to the stores where they were purchased for a full refund. Alerts are also issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

Aldi said it had withdrawn its Chinese pork tenderloin steaks and barbecue pork steaks because “a small number of products had an incorrect use-by date of June 22″. The budget retailer added: “Anyone who bought this product should return it to their nearest store for a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
