Bitcoin (BTC) price drops after crashing

Ether (ETH) narrowly outperformed, falling 4% in the last day, but over the longer term, the second-largest cryptocurrency has seen its price against bitcoin fall 21% this year to its most low since April 2021. At $2,490 at press time, Ether’s 2024 year-to-date advance has narrowed to just 9% versus bitcoin’s 39% rise.
