A Coventry schoolboy was punched and kicked in a violent attack outside Finham Park

A teenager has been injured after being attacked by a group of youths in Coventry. It happened outside Finham Park School on Torrington Avenue.

Police said the 14-year-old boy was assaulted at around 3pm on Wednesday 8 May. He was punched and kicked, according to West Midlands Police.



His attackers are said to have fled then. Officers are continuing to investigate the incident and have urged anyone who witnessed the attack to get in touch using 101 or WMP Live Chat.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted in Torrington Avenue, Coventry, just after 3pm on Wednesday (May 8). He was punched and kicked before his attackers fled.
