Columbia stocks rise at close of trade; COLCAP rose 0.14% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, it was up 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:), which was up 6.83% or 3,880.00 points to trade at 60,680.00 points at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC: ) added 4.28% or 140.00 points to end at 3,410.00 and Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC: ) was up 2.25% or 55.00 points to 2,495.00 at end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC: ), which declined 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: ) declined 2.31% or 280.00 points to 11,820.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: ) declined 2.23% or 720.00 points to trade at 31,600.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US C coffee for December delivery rose 0.67% or 1.70 to $256.95. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery fell 2.49% or 195.00 to $7,630.00, while December gold futures fell 0.55% or 14.00 to trade at $2,538.90 a troy ounce.

USD/COP rose 0.01% to 4,085.73, while BRL/COP rose 0.08% to 734.33.

US dollar index futures rose 0.51% to 100.97.
