Man found dead on Colindale Avenue

A man was found dead near the scaffolding on Colindale Avenue yesterday morning.

There were several reports on social media of a tent being set up on the road while emergency services attended the scene.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called at around 06:25 on Wednesday 15 May to reports of a man found deceased near Colindale Avenue, NW9.

“Emergency services intervened. The death is not believed to be suspicious.”
