Stocks in Poland are up at the close of trade; WIG30 rose 0.89% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the end in Warsaw, it increased by 0.89%.

The best performers of the session on the were CCC SA (WA: ), which rose 8.54% or 12.20 points to trade at 155.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Pepco Group Nv (WA:) added 4.54% or 0.79 points to end at 18.09 and Kruk SA (WA: ) was up 3.49% or 15.00 points to trade at 445.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA (WA: ), which declined 2.87% or 1.40 points to trade at 47.33 at the close. X Trade Brokers Dom Maklerski SA (WA: ) declined 1.00% or 0.68 points to end at 67.46 and Eurocash SA (WA:) decreased 0.92% or 0.09 points to 9.72.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 284 to 226, with 103 ending unchanged.

Shares of CCC SA (WA:) rose to 5-year highs; up 8.54% or 12.20 to 155.00. Eurocash SA (WA: ) shares fell to 52-week lows; down 0.92% or 0.09 to 9.72.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 1.17%, or 0.87, to $75.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.89%, or 0.69, to $78.27 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.61 % or 15.40 to $2,553.20 per troy ounce.

EUR/PLN fell 0.17% to 4.28, while USD/PLN rose 0.19% to 3.87.

US dollar index futures rose 0.36% to 101.35.
